After impressing everyone in 'Oh! Baby', youngster Teja Sajja made his debut as a full-fledged hero with 'Zombie Reddy'. Directed by 'Awe!' and 'Kalki' fame Prasanth Varma, the film was a commercial hit despite releasing post lockdown. After a successful theatrical outing, the film was premiered on Star Maa in March.

It raked up 9.7 TRP which was a huge feat considering the fact that it is a small film with a debut hero. Recently, the film was telecasted for the second time and the ratings are stunning once again. It secured a TRP rating of 8.1 which is enormous for a second-time telecast.

There are films of star heroes which struggled to get such big numbers even during their first-time telecast. Getting such terrific numbers suggest that 'Zombie Reddy' grabbed the interest of the viewers and it especially struck a chord with the family audience. 'Zombie Reddy' is the first Zombie based film to be made in Telugu and seems like the audience liked this fresh concept.

Raj Sekhar Varma bankrolled this film under his 'Apple Trees Studios' banner. Daksha Nagarkar was seen in an important role while Anandhi was the female lead. 'Zombie Reddy' also featured noted artists like Getup Srinu, Hemanth and many others.
