August 15th….Hit Needed For Everyone!
The fight is going to be quite interesting as the two Telugu releases are commercial while the Tamil release is something different.
August 15th is going to be a huge day in Tollywood as we will be witnessing the clash between 'Double Ismart', 'Mr Bachchan' and 'Thangalaan'. All three of them are crazy projects with noted heroes and popular directors. The fight is going to be quite interesting as the two Telugu releases are commercial while the Tamil release is something different.
But one common thing is that all of them need their film to become a hit at all costs. Ram Pothineni has been delivering duds like 'RED', 'The Warriorr' and 'Skanda' after 'Ismart Shankar'. His market took a huge beating and he needs the film to be hit in order to get back on track and continue his pursuit of becoming a mass hero. Even Puri Jagannadh needs 'Double Ismart' to succeed as many came to a conclusion that he is completely faded away after a film like 'Liger'. Also, 'Ismart Shankar' is the only hit he has given in the last 9 years.
It has been nearly 5 years since 'Gaddalakonda Ganesh' came out and Harish Shankar is aiming to make a strong comeback with 'Mr. Bachchan' to prove that he is still one of the best commercial directors around. Also, Ravi Teja is delivering one flop after another lately and 'Mr. Bachchan' is crucial for him too. On the other hand, Chiyaan Vikram is known for his experimentation but commercial success is something that has eluded him for a long time. Despite being a period thriller, the movie has a huge hype and we need to see if it succeeds or not.
