Telugu Box Office: Avatar Struggling Big Time!

One of the finance creations from Hollywood cinema is the avatar franchise that is written in motion by legendary film maker, James Cameron. The third part of the film released in theatres on December 19 in India as well.

However, the box office returns of this film have been very sedated till now as a very poor trend is being observed. The collections across India have been on a second hand rate and particularly in the Telugu states, the revenues have been very much below expectations.

The second part of the film could touch ₹100 crore in the Telugu state itself, and this was a historical achievement back in the day.

While certain people expected the second part also to go on such a strong run in the Telugu state, the exact opposite is happening now as it is going absolutely nowhere.

After the tremendous success of the second part, certain expectations were set on the third part that released a couple of days ago, but this film is struggling to bring the audience to theatres. Despite the fact that there are not too many other Telugu films in Telugu audience are simply not turning up to watch Avatar film.

Telugu audience have completely lost, touch and interest in such visual creation films from James Cameron, and this is not a positive sign for this megabudget Hollywood creation.

Also, it must be noted that Avatar 2 had collected over $2 billion revenue at the global box office. It has to be seen if the third part would come anywhere close to this now.
