It is already know that Prabhas and Rajamouli came back to the big screens with Baahubali: The Epic. This film had the revival on October 31, and let us have a look at the kind of box office revenue that it has managed to generate and also compared to the other leading films in this category.

Leading the list is Sanam Teri Kasam, which surprised everyone by grossing an impressive ₹39.15 crore upon re-release, proving its cult following. Close behind is the visually stunning Tumbbad, which amassed ₹37.5 crore, showing that strong storytelling always finds new audiences.

Baahubali: The Epic has earned around ₹37 crore in just 10 days of its re-release, and its total is expected to climb higher in the coming days. But nevertheless, this film is falling short of the expectations that it could manage to collect Rs 100 crore which isn’t even remotely the case now

Christopher Nolan’s Interstellar, re-released in India in 2025, collected ₹29 crore from its total run, reaffirming its massive appeal among science fiction lovers.

Among regional hits, Ghilli made ₹26.5 crore, showcasing Thalapathy Vijay’s enduring fan base, while Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani followed closely with ₹25.4 crore, celebrating a nostalgic return for youth audiences.

There is very little chance that Baahubali might end up on the top of the list, but as a film, it could generate reasonably decent revenues.
