The Baahubali franchise is widely recognized as a milestone that changed the course of Indian cinema. Both Baahubali 1 and Baahubali 2 shattered box-office records with their phenomenal collections. Director SS Rajamouli, who ended the first part with the iconic cliffhanger, successfully built immense curiosity for the second installment, which went on to gross over ₹1,400 crores.

However, some fans were not satisfied with the split storytelling of the series. Many critics and cinephiles felt that the story would have been more enjoyable if presented as a single movie. To fulfill this demand, Arka Media has edited Baahubali 1 and Baahubali 2 into one continuous cinematic experience, titled Baahubali – The Epic. This version has been remastered in 4K with the highest quality and is all set for release worldwide on October 31.

The posters have already gone viral among fans, showcasing the dominance struggle between the sun dynasty king Baahubali and his brother Bhallaladeva. The recently released trailer is packed with thrilling warrior battles that leave audiences on the edge of their seats. The highlight sequences include the epic clash between Baahubali and Bhallaladeva. The trailer also teases pivotal developments, such as Shivagami (Ramya Krishna) and Bhallaladeva (Rana) vying for the throne of Mahishmati. Unlike the cliffhanger ending in the original Part 1, audiences can now experience the entire story in a single viewing. The question of how Amarendra Baahubali returns for Devasena can finally be witnessed on screen.

When Baahubali enters the battlefield, he emerges as an unstoppable force, annihilating his enemies. His intense journey to rescue Devasena from Bhallaladeva’s captivity is gripping and visually spectacular. The trailer is filled with consecutive massive warrior sequences and some incredible single-line dialogues that elevate the excitement. The 4K visuals and sound design have been impressively enhanced, and the re-recording adds even more energy compared to the original release. Baahubali – The Epic is directed by SS Rajamouli, with music composed by MM Keeravani.
