Actor Siddhu Jonnalagadda carved a strong identity for himself with the blockbuster DJ Tillu and started calling himself a Starboy, though such star successes have not come up later. Back then, Siddhu Jonnalagadda first announced an action entertainer titled ‘Badass’, which will be directed by Ravikanth Perepu of Kshanam and Bubblegum fame. Earlier, this hero-director duo delivered Krishna and his Leela, which carved a name for the actor. Later, with such actioners not working for him, they changed the story and title, with the same director.
Ravikanth was supposed to carve out Kohinoor, a pan-India film with Siddhu, to be bankrolled by Naga Vamsi’s Sithara Entertainment. Guess what, after the strong failure of Telusu Kada at the box office, Siddhu is said to have decided to do a comedy film rather than a thriller and actioner.
Producer Naga Vamsi has recently confirmed that both these movies are shelved and they are not likely to take off anytime soon. Rather, Siddhu will be joining hands with Agent Sai Srinivas Athreya, director RJ Swaroop, for a comic actioner that will leave the audience in splits.
