His recent Sankranti release Daku Maharaj, directed by Bobby, has emerged as a massive success, raking in over 150 crores and counting. With his power-packed triple avatar in the film, Balayya has once again proved his mettle, effortlessly blending emotion and action to captivate his audience.
As part of Daku Maharaj's promotional spree, Balayya made a startling revelation that left fans intrigued. The veteran actor, known for his strong belief in sentiments and rituals, shared a fascinating short story about his unwavering faith in astrology and auspicious timings. From beginning his day with prayers to wearing specific gemstone rings, Balayya leaves no stone unturned when it comes to his spiritual beliefs.
In the interview, Balayya spilled the beans on his long-held superstition about the colour black on Sundays. "Being born under the Moola Nakshatra, I have a strict rule of not wearing black on Sundays. But once, during the shoot of Aditya 369, curiosity got the better of me, and I decided to test the belief. That day, SP Balasubrahmanyam, who rarely visited the set, happened to be present, and I ended up falling right in front of him, injuring my waist. That incident was enough proof for me to never defy my horoscope again," Balayya recounted.
With this revelation, it's clear that Balayya sticks to his sentiments religiously. Fans are now eagerly waiting for his upcoming magnum opus, Aditya 999 Max, the much-anticipated sequel to Aditya 369, where he will be sharing screen space with his son Mokshagna. Riding high on consecutive hits like Akhanda, Veerasimha Reddy, and Bhagwant Kesari, Balayya has once again struck gold with Daku Maharaj, setting the stage for another triumphant hat-trick. Meanwhile, his talk show Unstoppable on Aha OTT continues to be a massive hit, keeping his fans thoroughly entertained.
