At the start, we see the city-returned hero question the village's elders. The scene establishes the protagonist as a rebel without a cause. His defiant attitude earns him the enmity of Goparaju Ramana's feudal character. Ajay Ghosh's manipulative character abets further rivalry between them in the later part of the story.
Two men of faith, played by Auto Ram Prasad and Srikanth Iyangar, engage in an exploitative game by abusing faith. The TV media plays the role of an enabler. When the going gets tough, Shiva Shankar Vara Prasad (the hero's name is the same as Megastar Chiranjeevi's original name) buzzes in. At one point, the preachers face the wrath of a Goddess. Or, so it appears! Could it be the male protagonist defeating them at their own game?
Neha Shetty of 'DJ Tillu' fame looks apt. Mani Sharma's background score and two story-driven songs ('Dongode Doragadu' and a yet-to-be-released climactic song) are expected to be special.
