It is a common tradition in Indian cinema for actresses to first gain fame in South Indian cinema, and then move to Bollywood for better development opportunities. Appears that we could have another addition to this list from Telugu Cinema this time.

Akshay Kumar is set to star in Bhagam Bhag 2, the sequel to the 2006 comedy hit Bhagam Bhag. In the new film, he will be seen romancing two actresses Meenakshi Chaudhary and Ayesha Khan in prominent roles alongside him.

The movie brings back the chaotic and funny style fans loved in the original. Paresh Rawal is also returning, but Govinda will not be in the sequel. Instead, Manoj Bajpayee is expected to take on a major role, which has sparked excitement and curiosity among fans.

Meenakshi Chaudhary will be making her big Bollywood debut with this film. Ayesha Khan is joining as the second female lead, adding fresh energy to the cast. This must be an interesting jump for the actress from traditional Telugu cinema to the big budgeted Hindi Cinema

The plot is expected to stay true to the original’s “comedy of errors” style, filled with misunderstandings, mistaken identities and high-energy comedy moments.

Bhagam Bhag 2 is shaping up to be a nostalgic yet fresh entertainer, blending beloved elements from the original with new twists and characters. Audiences are looking forward to seeing how the updated cast brings the humour back to screens.
