On the eve of her birthday today (May 6th), the makers of her upcoming film, Akhil’s Lenin, has released a special poster, which is making huge noise now.

For a key sequence in Lenin, a stage-drama-act, she appears in a moustache avatar, channeling a Duryodhana-inspired getup from the Mahabharatha. It’s not just a costume change, but it’s a sharp break from the image she’s been building so far as a glamour diva. And that contrast is exactly what’s grabbing attention now, as people looking at her in the mythological character avatar are going crazy.

What makes this even more interesting is the timing. Just days ago, her glamorous midriff-centric song from Lenin, which goes by the title Yetta Yetta went viral, pushing her into the typical glam spotlight. And now, this special stage-drama act is actually stunning her fans who are admiring her since the days of Mr Bachhan, looking at her curvaceous avatar.

Finally, Akhil’s Lenin also cleared all the release hurdles, and with Peddi locked for June 4th, this film is hitting cinemas on 26 June, 2026. With Nagarjuna Akkineni, the father of the hero, earlier certifying that this film is the best work of his younger son so far, there are hopes. However, as the teaser trailer earlier promised it to be a pakka commercial film, we have to see how it is received.
