'Bhaje Vaayu Vegam': Fruitful OTT, satellite deals before theatrical release

'Bhaje Vaayu Vegam', starring Kartikeya Gummakonda and Ishwarya Menon as lovers, is directed by Prashanth Reddy. The film is in the news for hitting the bull's eye on the commercial front.

Even before its theatrical release, the emotional action thriller has raked in the moolah from Netflix and Zee towards streaming rights and satellite rights, respectively. The combined value of the deals is Rs 15 crore (Rs 10 crore plus Rs 5 crore).

The fruitful deals have only enhanced the appeal of 'BVV', which is one of the most promising movies on the business front this year. UV Creations is presenting the movie and its brand value must have played a prominent role in getting the deals through with Netflix and Zee.

Produced by UV Concepts and presented by UV Creations, the film has music by Radhan and Kapil Kumar doing the background music. RD Rajasekhar and Madhu Srinivas, respectively, have taken care of photography and dialogues.

The film with a father-son sentimental angle will hit the theatres on May 31st. Dheeraj Mogilineni of 'Baby', 'HanuMan' and 'Tillu Square' fame is ensuring its release in the Indian market.
