In a much-anticipated comeback, the iconic duo of Kamal Haasan and director Shankar is all set to ignite the silver screen with the sequel to their 1996 blockbuster, "Indian." Aptly titled "Indian 2," this film promises to deliver a powerful social message, just as its predecessor did over two decades ago.

Bankrolled by Subaskaran Allirajah of Lyca Productions and Red Giant Movies, the promo for "BHARATEEYUDU IS BACK" from "BHARATEEYUDU 2" has sent audiences into a frenzy. Shankar, renowned for his thought-provoking narratives, seems poised to once again leave an indelible mark with a great message in the film.
This teaser was released today in a event graced by legends of the Indian film industry and the event saw the presence of Super Star Rajinikanth, Mr. Perfectionist Aamir Khan, Complete Actor Mohan Lal, Sandalwood Star Kicha Sudeep, and Pan India director Rajamouli, who collectively unveiled the teaser in various languages. This star-studded moment marked the triumphant return of Kamal Haasan as the iconic freedom fighter Senapathy, ready to combat corruption with unparalleled intensity.
The short teaser, which is about two minutes long, potrayed a strong message with a song. It represents how people desperately need Kamal Haasan's character from the movie "Indian" to return back as they are dealing with a lot of unfair things happening in the country. The teaser shows a clear image of government officials and rich politicians being corrupted. Towards the end, Kamal Haasan makes a dramatic entrance and says, "Hello, India, Indian is back," and signs his name as Veerasekhar Senapathy.
The film offers glimpses of other prominent actors in pivotal roles. Siddharth portrays a common man, while Bobby Simha takes on the role of a dedicated police officer. Shankar ingeniously includes the late actor Vivekh in the movie, preserving his presence and legacy. Priya Bhavani Shankar portrays a journalist, and a cameo by Rakul Preet Singh adds to the film's overall excitement.
Nevertheless, there's a mixed response from netizens regarding the film teaser. Some feel that it doesn't live up to the high expectations set by the first part of the movie. Additionally, a few have pointed out that the teaser bears a resemblance to Shankar's previous film, "Shivaji," which featured Rajinikanth.
