Buzz: Bhola Shankar Producer Rejects Rumours about Chiranjeevi's Pay

Chiranjeevi's latest film, Bhola Shankar, has been generating a lot of talk, trolls, and memes. The situation seems dire, with theaters in the Telugu states even struggling to cover the rent due to the film's poor performance. On the second day of its release, there was a significant drop of 75 percent in ticket sales.

The negativity surrounding the film increased when rumours spread about a financial dispute between Chiranjeevi and producer Anil Sunkara. Reports suggested that Chiranjeevi and Anil Sunkara clashed over remuneration, with the actor demanding a substantial amount for his role.

It was rumored that Anil Sunkara had to sell his properties and resort to mortgaging assets on the city outskirts to fulfill Chiranjeevi's payment request, which was reportedly around 65 crores. However, the producer has refuted these rumors.

In a Twitter screenshot shared by a Chiranjeevi fan, Anil Sunkara denied the allegations. Responding to a netizen's query about the ongoing rumors via WhatsApp, the producer stated that he was on a flight to the USA and advised against believing the rumours.

He expressed that Chiranjeevi is a good man, and both of them plan to collaborate on another film soon. Despite the ongoing controversy, fans continue to support Chiranjeevi, sharing the producer's response to counter the negativity surrounding Bhola Shankar.
