Megastar Chiranjeevi's latest release, "Bholaa Shankar," has faced a disappointing reception from both fans and audiences. The movie failed to meet expectations, marking one of Tollywood's biggest disappointments. Despite securing a significant number of theaters during its opening weekend, "Bholaa Shankar" struggled to gather substantial collections.

Even the anticipated Independence Day holiday didn't provide the needed boost to its box office performance. The situation took a turn for the worse as the film failed to generate revenue on Wednesday, leaving even the maintenance costs uncovered. This stark decline resulted in zero share on day 6, a disheartening situation for Chiranjeevi's fans.

In contrast, "Waltair Veeraiah" thrived, maintaining theater screenings and achieving a solid share. As "Bholaa Shankar" approaches the end of its theatrical run, its worldwide share has only reached Rs 26 crore, significantly below expectations given its budget.

Observers indicate that the film must recoup at least Rs 80 crore to break even, let alone turn a substantial profit. Directed by Meher Ramesh, the movie featured renowned stars including Keerthy Suresh and Tamannaah Bhatia. The lackluster performance of "Bholaa Shankar" has prompted discussions about the movie's inability to live up to projections.

The film's struggle to attract audiences and generate revenue highlights the challenges it faced in resonating with viewers. As industry insiders analyze the reasons behind its underwhelming performance, Chiranjeevi's fans hope for his next venture to bring the desired success to the megastar's career.
