Bhumika was once one of the top heroines in South Indian cinema. After taking a break from films, she made a comeback with Nani’s MCA. Now, she is working again with director Gunasekhar, who gave her one of the biggest hits of her career, Okkadu. Their new film is titled Euphoria.
Since the teaser release, there has been strong interest in Bhumika’s role. The teaser clearly shows that she is playing a powerful and emotional character. The film is based on real-life incidents, and her role is said to have strong emotions. Because of this, Bhumika became very emotional during the film’s promotional event.
While speaking on stage, Bhumika shared her personal experience during the shoot. She said that many nights she could not sleep properly. “Sometimes I woke up at one o’clock, sometimes at two. My mind was always thinking about the character,” she explained. As she continued speaking, she became overwhelmed and started crying. She tried to step back and return to the mic, but she could not control her emotions and cried again.

Euphoria is set to release in theatres on February 6. A special premiere show will be held in Hyderabad on February 5, one day before the release. The film is produced by Neelima Guna, daughter of Gunasekhar. The movie also stars Gautham Vasudev Menon, Sara Arjun, and Prithviraj Sukumaran. Music is composed by Kala Bhairava.
