Bigg Boss is one of the most popular reality shows in Telugu. Every year, the show gets very high viewership. While the season is running, social media is filled with discussions, memes, and fan wars related to the show. Contestants who take part in Bigg Boss get instant fame. Their popularity increases overnight. However, the big question is whether this popularity helps them succeed in movies. The honest answer is: not always.

If we look at past seasons, many Bigg Boss winners and top contestants failed to build a strong career in films. Kaushal Manda, who won the show, could not continue as a successful hero. The same happened with several other popular contestants. Sohel is another example. After gaining popularity in Bigg Boss, he signed multiple films as a hero. Unfortunately, his movies did not perform well at the box office. His film Boot Cut Balaraju did not attract audiences to theatres. Sohel even became emotional and questioned where his Bigg Boss voters had gone. But that emotional appeal did not change the result.

Now, actor Amardeep, who got an opportunity in the film Sumathi Shatakam through Bigg Boss fame, has spoken very honestly about this issue. Unlike others, he clearly accepted reality. He said that votes in Bigg Boss and movie tickets are completely different things. According to him, people vote in a reality show based on personality, behavior and emotions. But they come to theatres only when they believe the film is worth watching.

Amardeep said that actors should not assume that Bigg Boss voters will automatically support their movies. He strongly believes that talent and hard work are the only ways to bring people to theatres. He also mentioned that Bigg Boss fame is temporary. Whether someone is a winner or a top finalist, the popularity lasts only for a short time. After that, life becomes normal again.

He added that many former contestants spend time attending events, mall openings, and stage shows. That fame can be useful only if used wisely. Success in films may take time, but it is possible with patience and proper choices.
