Rakasa Vs Biker: How’s The Josh At Openings?

After a long time, Tollywood is once again witnessing some josh from the Box Office as it has been two months literally that the collection registers haven’t seen any momentum. The much hyped Sankranthi season worked out for all, but later a big drought hit the Telugu film industry as the months of February and March went completely dry. Though the fireworks are there for a week through Ustaad and Dhurandhar, but that too has fizzled out now.

Finally, two films are most likely to come to the rescue, and almost everyone in the trade circles is hoping that these two movies will work out big time. Two films are releasing now (Friday, April 3rd) on the eve of the Good Friday holiday, which is a good sign because there will be lots of footfall. The first film is Sharwanand’s Biker, which has registered huge craze among the youths after the trailer got released. As the content seems to have some adrenaline-rushing stuff, surely the openings are reflecting that. Almost all the shows of the first day are getting filled fast.

The second film is Sangeeth Shoban’s Rakasa, which is produced by Niharika Konidela. Due to her terrific promotions for some days, the film became the talk of the town, though the trailer promised an unusual horror comedy. Due to those extensive promotions, the film is witnessing good filling already, and if the talk from the first shows comes out well, surely it is going to hit it big.

Also, these two films are opening the Summer season of Tollywood, and if they get good reviews from the Box Office, they will have a good run until other movies arrive.
