Bimbisara Dreams For Venky, But How Long?

If we have to talk about some breakout films that have come in recent times, it’s none other than “Bimbisara” which has blended present and past well, and brought out an epic fantasy story into the modern age, and also clicked well at the box office. Also, the Kalyan Ram starrer was crafted in a limited budget and made huge profits. All the credits go to director Vassishta, no doubt, but where’s he now?

Apparently, Vassishta has directed the film “Vishwambhara” with Megastar Chiranjeevi in the lead, and the film has been at the box office for two years. With the visual effects of the movie not living up to the mark, the makers have postponed it multiple times. While Chiranjeevi’s next film Mana Shankara Varaprasad Garu, came out early this January, and his next #Mega158 is also set for a release in six months, many are wondering if Vassishta’s film will come out now. However, the director is carving plans for his 3rd film as well.

Reports are coming that recently Vassishta narrated a script to Venkatesh Daggubati and got the project okayed. After wrapping the commitments in hand, including Trivikram’s Adarsha Kutumbam and Anil Ravipudi’s multi-starrer flick, the senior hero will join the sets of the Bimbisara director. If rumours are true, this is a mythological concept only. But we have to see if Vassishta will get lucky this time and wrap the project and release it on time.
