Bobby Simha Hits Back At Critics' Opinions On 'Indian 2'!
Reviewers pointed out that Kamal's makeup is not at all good while his Senapathi character suffers from bad writing.
After a long wait, 'Indian 2' arrived with a lot of expectations. Right from the teaser to the songs and trailer, the audience were not heavily impressed by the film but they believed in Shankar's master storytelling and Kamal Haasan's brilliance. But the movie turned out to be a disappointment.
Reviewers pointed out that Kamal's makeup is not at all good while his Senapathi character suffers from bad writing. Also, the outdated narration from Shankar is getting a lot of negative responses as well. The way the director used Marma Kala in torturing villains turned out to be silly as well. Many critics mentioned that Shankar is getting out of touch and hasn't updated with the latest trend.
However, Bobby Simha who played the role of a CBI officer hits back the critics. He said, “See, everyone thinks of themselves as very smart. They think people might assume that they are not smart if they say good things about what's good and try to find pointless flaws. We don't need to worry about the intellectuals. We only need to consider the audience and whether they like the movie. Let the intellectuals make their own movies. If you are so smart, why can't you make a movie yourself?”
While 'Indian 2' is not what the audience expected, the trailer showcased at the end of the movie got a superb response. The sneak peek into 'Indian 3' showed that there is going to be a lot of serious stuff happening in the movie. Kajal's character will also be seen in the third part and we can see the lead cast fight against the Britishers during the pre-Independence era. 'Indian 3' has a tagline that says 'War Mode' and they announced that it will be released in 2025. Let us see how it turns out.
