Dhurandhar Star Asks 15 Crore: Tollywood Is Shocked!

After the massive success of Dhurandhar, Bollywood actor Akshaye Khanna has become a hot topic in the Telugu film industry but not just for his performance.

His portrayal in the spy thriller won widespread acclaim, leading several Telugu producers to approach him for new roles.

However, negotiations haven’t gone smoothly. Reportedly, Khanna has asked for a huge ₹15 crore fee for his next projects, which has taken many Tollywood producers by surprise.

Alongside this high remuneration demand, he has also insisted on a very specific condition that he will only appear on screen wearing a wig. This unusual stipulation has reportedly made discussions even trickier.

This isn’t the first time such a demand has come up. Earlier reports suggested that in talks for the Hindi film Drishyam 3, he wanted to wear a wig, even though it didn’t match his look from Drishyam 2.

That disagreement was said to be one of the reasons the film’s makers eventually moved on without him. According to insiders, Khanna genuinely believes the wig brings him luck and prefers keeping it on for his roles. While his acting skills are admired across the industry, these conditions and the steep fee are now a major talking point in Tollywood circles.
