Ram Charan’s Peddi: Buchi Babu Showed His Grit

Talented filmmaker, Buchi Babu is yet to prove himself on the big stage. He did deliver a blockbuster in the form of his first film Uppena. But there were doubts on whether he would be able to handle a superstar, like Ram Charan for his immediate film.

However, Buchi Babu has made it clear that he can indeed handle a star like Charan. This can be understood if we look at the way he designed and executed the first post of the film that was released.

The poster has Charan in one of his most ferocious looks till date. It would have taken a lot of guts from Buchi Babu to design such a raw and rustic look for Charan and also to convince him that he would be able to handle the same.

Coming to the teaser video, which was supposed to be released yesterday on the occasion of Charan’s birthday, Buchi Babu did not let it happen. This is reportedly due to the fact that he was not convinced with the musical work delivered by AR Rahman.

Usually, Rahman is associated with the film, whatever he delivers is taken by the director, as he is a legendary music composer. However, in this case, Buchi stood up strong, even against the legendary Rahman and demanded a new track for the audio version of the glimpse.

At every step, the young Director is showing that he has the tenacity to handle a superstar, Leica Charan and also execute a huge film like Peddi. This is the kind of composure that one would expect from a student of Sukumar and it is working out very well for Buchi Babu for the time being.
