Recently, we have seen how actors take up certain roles and would never do anything against the cultural belief system to get into the skin of the character. For example, we have the likes of K Raghavendra Rao and Nagarjuna Akkineni who didn’t eat non-veg and even stopped wearing chappals during the filming of the Saibaba movie. Then comes Nayanthara, who played a Goddess in Mookutti Amman and took a celibacy deeksha for 30 days during the shoot.

Now comes Ram Charan, who has taken up a deeksha during the shooting of the film Peddi. Though the character being played by the RRR star isn’t any devotional or mythological role, he’s said to have taken up a deeksha when wrestling scenes are being filmed. Talking more about it, Buchi Babu says, “Watching Ram Charan during the shooting of wrestling episodes made me feel like watching Lord Hanuman inside the ring. That too Charan has taken a Deeksha at the time, and that reflected in his work too”.

Well, Buchi Babu is currently lifting Ram Charan to the sky big time, and all of his words will find sanctity only after the trailer releases on May 18th and impresses the audience. At the same time, all this publicity that is centred around Ram Charan’s performance and screen presence should be well complemented inside theatres with the content.
