Director Buchi Babu Sana recently shared an interesting story about the real-life inspiration behind the character “Peddi” from his upcoming movie with Ram Charan. His comments are now going viral among movie lovers and fans.

Speaking during an interaction, Buchi Babu revealed that there was a man called “Peddigadu” in his village. He said, "There was a man called Peddigadu in our village. He used to go for daily labour work and also play cricket. No matter what the match was, he would win it single-handedly."

The director further explained that everyone in the village admired his cricket talent. Buchi Babu said, “We used to give him Rs.150 and stop him from going to work just so he could play cricket for us. He also knew football very well."

Later, the anchor asked him how he designed the background for the Peddi character after taking inspiration from that real person.

Answering that question, Buchi Babu explained, "After creating the character, we designed a background connected to labourers and their struggles. We thought it would be interesting to place a character like Peddi in that world."

Meanwhile, there is already huge excitement around Peddi. Reports suggest that the movie will feature a shocking and emotional twist that audiences may not expect. Buchi Babu had earlier impressed viewers with Uppena, where emotional storytelling played a major role in the film’s success.

Now, with Ram Charan playing the lead role, expectations are much bigger. Many believe Buchi Babu is planning another strong emotional moment that could become one of the biggest highlights of the movie.

However, handling such a powerful twist with a star hero image is not an easy task. Fans are now curious to see how Buchi Babu balances emotions, mass appeal, and storytelling in Peddi.
