Mythri Team Not Leaving Aug 15th Despite 'Pushpa 2' Delay!

There has been a lot of talk surrounding the release of 'Pushpa 2: The Rule'. It was supposed to hit the screens on 15th August. The makers officially announced the date long back and the promotions have also been kickstarted keeping that in mind. But the makers have confirmed that it is postponed to December 6th. This disappointed not just the fans but also the regular movie lovers who hoped to watch Pushparaj in action one more time.

It is well known that Ram and Puri Jagannadh's 'Double Ismart' is arriving on Independence Day to cash in on the holiday weekend. Sources say that Mythri Movie Makers are in no mood to leave on August 15th as they are planning to release one of their small films on that date. They have entered the distribution business too which means that they can get a hold on theatres if they decide to.

Apparently, they are considering 2-3 small/medium films that are in the making under their banner. They are hoping that one of them gets ready so that they can release it on August 15th. After watching the final copy in July, they are expected to finalize it. Let us wait and see what the surprise package from Mythri Movie Makers is going to be.

Coming to 'Pushpa 2', the movie will be coming out on 6th December which means other releases in that month have to be more cautious. Nithiin's 'Robinhood' announced that it will arrive in theatres on 20th December and even Naga Chaitanya's 'Thandel' is releasing on the same date as well. While Nithiin's film is produced by Mythri Movie Makers, 'Thandel' is produced by the Allu family's production banner 'Geetha Arts'. If they move the release date, it will be easy for 'Pushpa 2' to get a competition-free month.
