Can Sampoo Deliver After A Big Dasara Weekend?

Sampoornesh Babu is arriving after a long time with an intriguing movie titled 'Martin Luther King'. The makers announced that this film will be hitting the screens on 27th October. The movie is a remake of the Tamil hit flick titled 'Mandela'. Yogi Babu did the lead role in the original and it got a lot of accolades. With Sampoo remaking it in Telugu, there is a decent buzz on it. The teaser and trailer looked promising and the makers started the premiere shows 18 days before the movie's full-fledged release.
Despite all the publicity and promotions through premiere shows in various cities, people are not heavily interested in this movie. They are completely immersed in the hype surrounding the Dasara releases like 'Bhagavanth Kesari', 'Leo' and 'Tiger Nageswar Rao'. The movie lovers will get their purses empty after covering these three biggies and it will be interesting to see if they will be interested in watching Sampoornesh's at the month's end or not. People did not turn up to noted releases like 'Chandramukhi 2' and 'Pedha Kapu 1' at the end of last month.
It will be a huge task for 'Martin Luther King' team to bring people to the theatres. Also, Salman Khan's 'Tiger 3' will arrive on 12th November. So, the audience will be focused on that film and Tharun Bhascker's 'Keeda Kola' will attract people on 3rd November. It looks like Sampoornesh Babu's film is going to have a tough time but one needs to understand that nothing can stop a movie with good content. Let us see if it happens for 'Martin Luther King' or not.
