'Captain Miller' Gets Mixed Talk Even Before Its Telugu Release!

Due to the competition amongst Telugu films this Sankranti season, dubbing films like 'Captain Miller' and 'Ayalaan' were postponed. The original Tamil versions of both these movies got released on 12th January 2024. While 'Ayalaan' is an experimental film where an alien ends up on earth and finds its way to Siva Karthikeyan and gang, 'Captain Miller' is a period action drama featuring a big hero like Dhanush in the lead role.

There were high expectations on 'Captain Miller' as the teaser and trailer created a lot of excitement. The star cast including Shiva Rajkumar, Sundeep Kishan, Priyanka Mohan and others too added to the hype. But the reviews from Kollywood circles suggest that the movie did not meet the expectations. Though the performance from Dhanush is top class as expected, it is thestory and slow screenplay that played the spoilsport as per reports. Barring interval episode and a few key sequences which were lifted by Dhanush's acting skills, the movie.

With the movie releasing on 25th January in the Telugu states, we need to wait and see if this mixed talk would affect the result of 'Captain Miller' in a bad way or not.

Set in 1930-40s, 'Captain Miller' is going to be high on action and drama. GV Prakash is the music composer of this movie. Madhan Karky has penned dialogues for the Tamil version of the movie. Arun Matheswaran is the film's director. The movie is presented by T.G. Thyagarajan of Sathya Jyothi Films and produced by Sendhil Thyagarajan and Arjun Thyagarajan.
