Chay’s Big Reveal: Wife Sobhita is His Stress Buster!

Akkineni Naga Chaitanya and Sobhita Dhulipala got engaged in August 2024 and married in a small ceremony on December 4, 2024, at Akkineni’s Annapurna Studios in Hyderabad. In a recent interview with Bollywood News, Chaitanya spoke about his wife and praised her for being his support system.

Chaitanya revealed that he values Sobhita's advice for both personal and professional matters. He said, "Whenever I feel confused or stressed, I go to her. She immediately picks up on it and asks me what’s wrong. She’s my sounding board and gives me great, neutral advice. I trust her opinions and they help me a lot in making decisions."

At the recent trailer launch of his film Thandel in Vishakhapatnam, Chaitanya jokingly called Sobhita a "Vizag ammayi," saying he fell in love with and married a local girl. He humorously added that the "ruling party" at home now comes from Vizag and asked fans to support Thandel at the Vizag box office to avoid losing his honor at home. He also mentioned that he picked up the local dialect for his role in the film from Sobhita.

Thandel, based on true events, is about 22 fishermen from Srikakulam who drift into Pakistani waters during a storm and are imprisoned for nearly two years. The film, starring Sai Pallavi alongside Chaitanya, is set to release on February 7.
