Despite still being in college, Chaithra embarked on her professional acting journey with the Kannada web series, Bengaluru Queens, under the direction and production of actor Anish Tejeshwar. She ventured into Kannada feature films in 2019, debuting with the action thriller Mahira, directed by Mahesh Gowda. Known for her remarkable performances, Chaithra has essayed lead roles in films like "Gilky," "Taledanda," and "AaDrushya."
In 2023, Chaithra had two releases: "Toby" with Raj B Shetty and "Sapta Sagaradaache Ello Side-B" alongside Rakshit Shetty and Rukmini Vasanth, directed by Hemanth Rao. Her performances in both movies garnered praise from both audiences and critics alike. Following these successes, she appeared in "Blink," directed by debutant Srinidhi Bengaluru. The film received critical acclaim, with commendations for all the actors involved.
