'Manike' Composer Says He Is Happy With Anirudh Using His Song!

There has been a lot of talk about the 'Chuttamalle' song ever since it came out. This pleasant melody from 'Devara' is creating a huge debate on social media. Many are pointing out the fact that it shares a striking resemblance to 'Manika' song. This Sri Lankan song was composed by Chamath Sangeeth and singer Yohani's cover to it became viral a few years back.

With music sensation Anirudh coming up with something similar, people are claiming that the 'Jailer' composer copied the tune. It got to the original music director and Chamath took to social media and posted a video of an influencer who pointed out the similarity between 'Chuttamalle' and 'Manike'. He wrote, “Always been an admirer of Anirudh's work. I'm happy to see my song 'Manike Mage Hithe' has inspired him to create something similar.”

Amidst all this, Anirudh is yet to respond to it and he is silently going ahead with his work. This soothing melody from 'Devara' was released on the 5th and the trolls haven't stopped since then. On the flip side, NTR's uber-cool avatar, graceful dance movies, Janhvi's exquisite glamour, beautiful locations, lyrics and vocals were pretty good.

'Devara' is coming out on 27th September and there are massive expectations on this pan-Indian flick. The teaser and two songs got a superb response and Janhvi Kapoor is the heroine in this flick. Saif Ali Khan is the villain while Srikanth and Shine Tom Chacko play key roles. Ratnavelu is the cinematographer while Sabu Cyril is the production designer. Koratala Siva is the writer and director of this movie.
