Even though most of her recent spicy love stories failed big time, Bollywood diva Ananya Panday is coming up with another love story now. Resembling her previous film Tu Mera Main Tera, right now he latest film’s teaser is grabbing eyeballs. However, the teaser of “Chand Mera Dil” not only presented Ananya without her recent bombshell explosion on the silver screen in bikinis, but the film has also banked on the South Indian sentiment.

In recent times, many Bollywood makers are feeling that exploring South cultures like Kerala, Tamil and Karnataka’s hill stations will bring them lots of attention. Staying true to that, the upcoming Chand Mera Dil was shot completely in Hyderabad, featuring Lakshya and Ananya Panday. From Durgam Cheruvu to NIFT campus to Hussain Sagar, the roads of the city to the Financial District backdrop, they didn’t leave any of the teaser is anything to go by. This reminds people of the Malayalam film Premalu, which was completely shot in Hyderabad except for a few scenes.

Also, this proves a point that Bollywood now wants the South touch to their movies, by making sure that the backdrop is based here, so that they could get massive attention from Telugu folks too. Like how our filmmakers rope in Bollywood beauties to get openings in North Indian circuits, it looks like now Bollywood wants to rope in Hyderabad-like cities into their films, such that they would get openings here. However, only if the songs and story click, this type of stint will work.

This film is also being produced by Karan Johar, and many are already bashing the star producer for giving so many chances to Ananya Panday despite her recent flops, but not encouraging any newcomers.
