Suriya's Telugu Debut To Have A Vedic Touch!

Phenomenal actor Suriya is currently working on 'Kanguva' which is a high-budget fantasy film. Apart from that, he is all set to act in his first straight Telugu movie. Apparently, highly talented director Chandoo Mondeti impressed Suriya with a script and it is going to revolve around four vedas which are holy texts in Hindu culture.

Sources say that the philosophical and spiritual elements in the movie are going to stand out. It is reportedly a socio-fantasy film that deals with social elements, mythology and fantasy. The storytelling is going to be very interesting in this movie as per reports.

This project will not start anytime soon as Suriya has 'Kanguva', Bala's film and Vetrimaaran's film in his hands. He is completely packed for the next two years and Chandoo's project will only start after that. Currently, Chandoo Mondeti is working with Naga Chaitanya and it is expected to kickstart soon. To begin the pre-production, team #NC23 explored coastal Andhra Pradesh and visited Machilesham village in Srikakulam. As we know, Chandoo Mondeti is riding high on the success of 'Karthikeya 2' and he is aiming for another blockbuster with this film.

Talking about this film, Chandoo said, "Our pre-production begins now after coming to this village and observing every minute detail. A local guy named Karthik prepared a story based on a real incident that happened in 2018. He initially told the story to Aravind Garu and Bunny Vas Garu. I got excited when I heard the story. We've been working on the script for the last 2 years. The script is ready now and it has come out well."
