Back in the day, director Krishnavamsi and then Chandrasekhar Yeleti were called super creative directors. Yeleti gave films like Aithe, Okkadunnadu, Anukokunda Oka Roju, and Sahasam. While their assistants like Nandini Reddy, Rajamouli, and Hanu Raghavapudi are still in the game, even Yeleti lost the track. However, there is always a chance to make a comeback, and it looks like the talented director is on track.
Reports are coming up that Chandrasekhar Yeleti has recently narrated an intelligence-driven concept to Mythri Movie Makers and is currently narrating the story to Pradeep Ranganathan in Chennai. If all goes well, the project goes to the floors immediately. That will mark the comeback of this creative director, if it materialises into a big movie. Though Yeleti’s films are little mind-teasers for the audience back in the 2000s, right now, they are the cup of tea for Gen Z audience, so he might really make it big now.
On the other hand, there are many other directors like Krishna Vamsi, Ram Gopal Varma, Vijaya Bhaskar and others, who have once made a name with their creative talents, but then faded out as time passed, with their films not even getting minimum openings. Hope most of them find their footing back into the creative game again.
