The successful conclusion of the first Archery Premier League (APL) was formally celebrated in the New Delhi today as Mega Power Star Ram Charan, alongside APL Chairman Anil Kamineni, and Archery Association of India President Virender Sachdeva, met with Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi.

The high-profile delegation presented the Prime Minister with a symbolic bow, a gesture commemorating the APL’s successful first season and underlining its commitment to revitalizing archery, an ancient Indian sport.

The APL, spearheaded by Anil Kamineni, has been lauded as a vital step towards building a self-sustaining ecosystem for archers.

Following the meeting, Ram Charan, the league’s influential advocate, expressed confidence about the future of the sport. "It was truly an honour to meet our Prime Minister and share the vision behind the Archery Premier League. Archery is a vital part of our cultural heritage, and through APL, we hope to bring it back into the international spotlight."

The meeting also included a personal element, as Upasana Kamineni Konidela presented the Prime Minister with a Balaji idol and a traditional puja kit on behalf of Ram Charan's parents, Chiranjeevi and Surekha.

The visit successfully positioned the APL as a significant national initiative aligning sport, culture, and India’s global aspirations.
