Apparently, some users on X.com has asked people to post about the dark things that have happened in the Indian film industry, and many users replied to that. One of the posts in reply to that was on veteran hero Vinod Khanna and how he forcibly kissed heroine Madhuri Dixit on the sets of their 1988 film Daayavan.
The post says that 41-year-old Vinod Khanna, at that time, forcibly kissed 21-year-old Madhuri for a scene, without her consent, and later director Feroze Khan nearly paid a crore to her to retain that scene. Whether the authenticity of this could be verified or not, the internet is already believing it.
Taking cognisance of this, many other users are also posting how senior stars back then in the film industry used to force kisses and bites on the lips of their heroines, who were new and relatively in their teens. Another case posted, even the star heroine Rekha was similarly assaulted when she was 15 years old, and then the film wasn’t released for almost a decade. Reacting to all of this, the usual crusader on the internet, singer Chinmayee Sripada, shared her thoughts too.

Though many publications and media houses didn’t carry these stories, as no one knows the veracity of them, with Chinmayee’s reaction, now those titbits are becoming mainstream news. We have to see if any of the names mentioned in those scandals, or whatsoever, will react to them now, while the likes of Vinod Khanna have already passed away.
