A Quick Update On Megastar Vishwambhara Is Here

Now that Megastar Chiranjeevi’s latest film Mana Shankara Varaprasad Garu is doing great at the box office, minting almost ₹120 crores gross in 2-days of run, the focus naturally shifts to what’s next for the senior star. Reports are now doing the rounds that his focus will be shifting to the delayed VFX fantasy movie, rather than anything else.

Chiranjeevi first kick-started the film “Vishwambhara” under the direction of Mallidi Vasishta, of Bimbisara movie fame. The film’s teaser got released, but the poor quality of the visual effects got slammed by the critics and audience alike. That led to the reshoots of the film, changing the VFX company that’s handling the work, and finally, Chiranjeevi has put its release on hold, favouring Anil Ravipudi’s movie.

Now that MSG has been released, and with KS Bobby’s film not going to sets from February, courtesy of the pending script work, Chiranjeevi wants to monitor the status of Vishwambhara personally. He wants to take part in the meetings with VFX teams, review the final rendered footage and help Vassishta in taking a final call on the work.

Though the shooting of Vishwambara got completed, surely Megastar is showing interest in doing patchwork, if any, and watching the film multiple times on the editing table, to make sure that it will click big time at the box office.

Bankrolled by UV Creations, Vishwambhara has Trisha as the main female lead, while the likes of Ashika Ranganath and Isha Chawla appeared in special roles. Mouni Roy has danced with Chiranjeevi for an item number.
