Why didn't Chiranjeevi meet Revanth Reddy today?

It must have been known to everyone already by now that the Tollywood delegation met with the chief minister of Telangana Revanth Reddy to discuss the burning topics related to the film industry. Reportedly, around 50 members associated with Tollywood met with the chief minister today.

However, one major absentee for this important meeting is Chiranjeevi. Last night, there were reports that Chiranjeevi might be attending the meeting at an official capacity, but that did not happen.

According to media reports, now we are hearing that Chiranjeevi could not make it to the meeting because he was not in the city. Apparently, Chiranjeevi has not been staying in Hyderabad for the last couple of days. He is out of station on some other work.

Had Chiranjeevi been around, he might have certainly made time to meet with the chief minister today. But that did not happen due to the fact that he was not in the city.

In Chiranjeevi's absence, other Tollywood veterans, namely Akkineni Nagarjuna and Venkatesh Daggubati, met with the government representatives.

It must be noted that Chiranjeevi had already met with Revanth Reddy, just weeks after the latter took charge as the chief minister of Telangana. So his absence at the meeting today might not be a big deal as he will have the leeway of meeting the CM at a later point.
