Megastar Chiranjeevi is getting ready for his next film Kaaka directed by Bobby Kolli. The latest reports about the film's theatrical business have become a hot topic in the industry.

Chiranjeevi recently scored a big success with Mana Shankara Vara Prasad Garu during the Sankranthi season. Now, he is working on Kaaka which is being produced by Venkat K. Narayana under the KVN Productions banner. Bobby Kolli earlier delivered a blockbuster with Chiranjeevi through Waltair Veerayya. Their reunion has increased expectations for Kaaka. Trade circles believe the film could create strong business before its release.

According to reports, the makers are quoting around Rs 70 crore for the theatrical rights of Kaaka in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. This is a huge amount and the film's business has become a major discussion among distributors.

The makers are reportedly confident about the film's market value because of Chiranjeevi's star power and Bobby's track record. The film also has an interesting cast. Malayalam actress Anaswara Rajan plays Chiranjeevi's daughter, Ammulu. Bollywood filmmaker and actor Anurag Kashyap and Nivetha Pethuraj are also playing important roles.

Thaman is composing the music for the film. The makers have earlier announced that Kaaka will release on January 13, 2027, during the Sankranthi festival.

However, there are reports that Chiranjeevi's other film Vishwambhara may also enter the Sankranthi race. If that happens then the makers may consider postponing Kaaka to release it on a bigger Pan-India scale. There is no official confirmation about any change in the release date yet. Whatever the reason, it is sure that more than Vishwambhara, Kaaka has lot of expectations and among audience and there is no need to looks back for Chiru and Bobby.
