Chiranjeevi Drops a Big Hint on Mega158 Title
The Megastar reportedly asked Thaman, "Is it still named Kadiri?"
Megastar Chiranjeevi is getting ready for another interesting project with director Bobby Kolli. The film is currently known as Mega158 or ChiruBobby2. The movie marks the second collaboration between Chiranjeevi and Bobby Kolli after their earlier successful association.
Now, there is fresh excitement around the project because Chiranjeevi himself appears to have given a hint about its title.
Chiranjeevi recently attended the success meet of Varun Tej’s Korean Kanakaraju. During the event, he interacted with music director Thaman S. While talking about the title teaser of his upcoming movie, Chiranjeevi asked a question that immediately caught the attention of fans.
The Megastar reportedly asked Thaman, "Is it still named Kadiri?"
His words have created a lot of curiosity among Mega fans. The question appears to suggest that Kadiri could be connected to the title of Mega158. However, the complete title has not been officially revealed yet. A video clip from the event has also gone viral, but some parts of the conversation are not clearly audible.
The makers are reportedly planning to release the title teaser on August 22, 2026. The date is special because it is Chiranjeevi’s 71st birthday. Fans are now eagerly waiting to see whether the movie will officially be announced with the name Kadiri.
Mega158 is said to be an action entertainer with a strong emotional story. The film has Anaswara Rajan and Nivetha Pethuraj in important roles. There is also a buzz that Anaswara could play the role of Chiranjeevi’s daughter. However, the makers have not officially confirmed this information.
Thaman S is composing the music for the movie. With Chiranjeevi, Bobby Kolli and Thaman working together, expectations are already high.
On the work front, Chiranjeevi was recently seen in Mana Shankara Vara Prasad Garu, directed by Anil Ravipudi. The film also featured Nayanthara in the female lead role and Venkatesh Daggubati in a special appearance.
Chiranjeevi also has Viswambhara, a fantasy action film, in his lineup. The movie is expected to release in 2026, though the official release date is yet to be announced.
