Megastar Chiranjeevi’s latest outing, Mana Shankara Varaprasad Garu, directed by the supremely talented Anil Ravipudi, has hit the ball out of the park.

The success is so big that now this Telugu starrer stands as a historical blockbuster that was released on Sankranthi eve, and collected higher than any other Sankranthi movie so far in the Telugu film industry.

Earlier, Mana Shankara Varaprasad Garu posted ₹200 crores nett collection, and by the 18th day, it collected ₹201.93 crores nett from the Box Office. Guess what, that makes Mega MSG beat the records of Allu Arjun’s Ala Vaikuntapurramlo (₹200.98 Cr nett lifetime) and HanuMan (₹200.91 Cr Nett) collections.

These two films are so far the highest ever collection makers in the Sankranthi season, in the history of Telugu cinema and Megastar’s flick dethroned them now.

As there are no major releases until the second week of February, surely Chiranjeevi might continue his juggernaut at the Box Office in a big way. Only if films like With Love (Tamil dubbed) or Guna Sekhar’s Euphoria clicks on Feb 6th, or Vishwaksen’s Funky on 13th, then #MSG might see a big drop in collections.

Otherwise, Chiranjeevi starrer continues to tighten the already created records.
