Chiranjeevi Gives a Green Idea for Ganesh Chaturthi Celebrations

Megastar Chiranjeevi is known not only for his films but also for his interest in social and environmental causes. He often encourages people and his fans to donate blood, plant trees and protect nature. As Ganesh Chaturthi is approaching, Chiranjeevi has now shared an important idea about celebrating the festival in an eco-friendly way.

Former Rajya Sabha MP Santosh Kumar has been promoting environmental awareness through the Green India Challenge. The campaign has worked on several activities, including tree plantation, better use of water and reducing single-use plastic in cities and towns.

The latest idea from the campaign is called Seed Ganesha. It is a simple and interesting concept. In this method, seeds of flowering plants are mixed with clay and used to make a small Ganesha idol. The idol can even be made at home.

The idea has another meaning too. The word “seed” is connected to the concept of keeping the idol small instead of making very large idols. This can help people celebrate the festival in a more environment-friendly manner.

On Monday morning, Santosh Kumar visited Chiranjeevi's residence and presented him with a Seed Ganesha idol. He also explained how the special idol works and why it can be useful for the environment.

After receiving the idol, Chiranjeevi encouraged his fans and people in both Telugu states to consider celebrating Ganesh Chaturthi with Seed Ganesha idols. He suggested making the idol at home and using it for the festival.

The biggest attraction of the Seed Ganesha is what happens after the idol is immersed. The seeds inside the clay can later grow into plants when they get suitable conditions. These plants can eventually produce flowers and fruits.

Chiranjeevi's message is simple: festivals can be celebrated with happiness while also taking care of nature. Instead of using huge idols and materials that may harm the environment, people can choose smaller and eco-friendly options.
