At the time when Mana Shankara Varaprasad Garu is about to touch the mighty ₹300 crores gross mark, all eyes are on Megastar Chiranjeevi, as the 70-year-old superstar has some interesting projects lined up. While fans are waiting for Vishwambhara's release and the kick-starting of KS Bobby’s movie, here’s news about another project in the pipeline.
Presented by none other than Natural Star Nani and bankrolled by Sudhakar Cherukuri, Chiranjeevi’s next film has Dasara director Srikanth Odela directing it. Already, the announcement poster of this movie, featuring Chiranjeevi’s hand dripped in blood, grabbed eyeballs earlier. And today, producer Sudhakar has shed much light on what type of content they are going to create.
He revealed that the film will have a gritty theme, with the vintage 1970s backdrop, adding more vibe to the narrative. As Srikanth Odela has already made Dasara in a vintage backdrop, then Paradise in a more vintage backdrop, this news of Chiranjeevi’s film made in the 70s look is a stunner for sure. However, we have to see if it will feature a Telangana context, like Dasara and Paradise, or a more neutral narrative.
The film is likely to go into production late this year, once Chiranjeevi wraps work on KS Bobby’s movie. Meanwhile, Srikanth Odela has to wrap Nani’s Paradise movie too, which has 40% shooting still pending.
