Chris Martin and Dakota Johnson Join Devotees at Kumbh Mela

Coldplay singer Chris Martin and actress Dakota Johnson recently visited the Maha Kumbh Mela in Prayagraj. A fan shared a video of their visit on Instagram.

In the video, Chris and his partner were seen taking a dip in the holy waters. As zoomed in, Chris Martin and Dakota Johnson were also seen entering the water. Chris Martin wore black shorts while Dakota Johnson chose a kurta and trousers. At one point, Chris smiled at Bharat’s partner with folded hands and was also seen praying with closed eyes.

Many people reacted to the video. A fan praised Chris for embracing Indian culture despite being British. Another person joked that when you cannot go to a Coldplay concert, Coldplay comes to you. Many called it one of the best reels they had seen this year.

Meanwhile, Chris and Dakota were in Prayagraj on January 27. They wore saffron-colored clothes while sitting in a car. They arrived in India on January 16 for Coldplay’s musical tour. The band performed in Mumbai and Ahmedabad. Their last concert in India was on January 26 at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.

During the concert, Chris Martin sang patriotic songs like Vande Mataram and Maa Tujhe Salaam. The audience cheered loudly. He ended the performance by saying, “Salute to Mother India,” and wished everyone on Republic Day.
