This brings us to the topic on whether even Rajamouli can pull off something like this for his upcoming projects as he is the most celebrated director in Indian cinema.

Rajamouli advance booking for films in advance, then the expectation is that they would certainly sell substantially high number of tickets. This is primarily due to the combination factor that Rajamouli works out and also his own legacy that he built over the years.

But the real issue here is the working timelines of Rajamouli, as it is nearly impossible to guess when his films actually release in theatres. There were occasions where his films got postponed by even a year or over a couple of years. So this advance booking technology simply does not work for him.
