It is already known that Lokesh Kanagaraj and Rajinikanth are arriving at the box office in less than a month from now with their upcoming film Coolie. As the film is preparing for its release on August 14, the promotional campaign has started now and Lokesh has revealed a few interesting bits of information.

Lokesh revealed that there will be no teaser for this Rajinikanth film, and instead added that the trailer will be released directly on August 2. This is peculiar promotional campaign to avoid the teaser of the film and release the trailer directly.

It is now announced that the trailer will be out on August 2, which is roughly 12 days before the theatrical release of the film. This train is expected to boost the booking trends for this film now.

On the other hand, we have the remuneration discussion of Lokesh as he revealed that it is a fact that he has doubled his remuneration now and is charging in the vicinity of rupees 50 crore per film. He attributed this success to the tremendous reception that his previous film Leo got.

Lokesh revealed that the fact that his previous film collected ₹600 crore inspired him to double his remuneration.

Lokesh further added that Rajinikanth was so impressed with the film after watching it in a studio recently that he got up and hugged him after the screening. “Rajinikanth Sir told me that this is one of the best theatrical experience for him, and it reminded him of Thalapathy days.” He revealed.
