Court Day 2 Box Office Collections shocks trade

Court starring Priyadarshi, Harsha Roshan, Sridevi and Shivaji has been receiving appreciation from all corners ever since its release. Natural Star Nani presented the film with Ram Jagadeesh directing it and Deepthi Ganta and Prashanti Tirpineni producing it.

The movie collected a huge Rs.8.10 crores gross on Day 1 (Day 1 + paid premieres) and on its Day 2, it almost equalled that number collecting Rs.7.80 crores gross in a single day. The cumulative gross of the film is Rs.15.90 crores gross from 2 Days (2 Days + paid premieres).

In USA, the movie is nearing half million mark with its collections standing at US$450K mark. The rush for the tickets suggest that it is going to touch the prestigious 1 Million mark pretty soon.

This shocked trade experts as well as they were expecting the collections to not be as high as Holi day but they have surpassed all expectations. So, they are predicting Day 3 to be even bigger being Sunday.

Nani stated that Court's victory journey has just begun and he is once again proven right by the phenomenal collections at the box office. Sunday bookings are so strong that the rush for tickets is on par with a big star film and Court is no longer a small film, it is a monstrous blockbuster for Telugu Cinema.
