Adivi Sesh's Dacoit continues to collect huge on Day 2

Adivi Sesh has delivered the biggest opening of his career with his latest theatrical release, Dacoit. The film, which also stars leading lady Mrunal Thakur, is enjoying an excellent run at the box office right from its release. It has quickly been declared a blockbuster, proving his reputation as a reliable hit machine once again. Movie is directed by Shaneil Deo and produced by Supriya Yarlagadda, Suniel Narang.

The worldwide gross for the film has reached a massive Rs. 28 crores+ in just two days of its theatrical run. It collected 15 crores+ on its first day and maintained a very strong hold with 13 crores+ on the second day. The performance in the Telugu states is particularly outstanding, as the day one and day two collections are completely equal.

The action drama has also shown excellent growth in other markets, especially with the Hindi version. The Hindi theatrical collections saw a big jump, grossing Rs.1.75 crores on day two compared to Rs. 1.3 crores on day one. Furthermore, the overseas market is booming with over $1 million+ collected, out of which the USA alone contributed a solid $760K+.

This includes 98.26K in pre-sales, 150.47K on the first day, and a steady 147.15K on the second day, confirming its massive success. Day 3, Sunday, bookings are already solid and trade experts are happy to see family audiences flocking to theatres.
