Monday BO Test: How Will In-form Heroes Perform?

We witnessed multiple films, arriving at the ticket counters last week, including Adivi Sesh with Dacoit and Pradeep Ranganathan with LIK. Both the films arrived at the ticket counters with significant expectations to perform well.

But when it comes to the actual theatrical numbers that are being displayed by both these films, let us have a look into the kind of trend that they have been projecting.

In terms of volume of numbers, it is Sesh, who is ahead as his Dacoit which has reportedly collected over ₹40 crore at the global box office on the opening weekend. This is a pretty strong number for a film of this genre, and it speaks a lot about Sesh’s work.

On the other hand, we have Pradeep Ranganathan who arrived at the ticket counters with LIK, and this happens to be his fourth film after delivering a hat trick of blockbusters. Considering the fact that Pradeep has blockbuster films like Dude, Dragon and Love Today, great things were expected of LIK as well.

But due to the weak reviews and postponed release of the film, which took away the anticipation, the box office reception over the weekend, has not been very positive.

Neither of the film could open to super positive reviews, which makes the box office test that much more crucial. It is going to be an extremely tough challenge for the films to sustain the momentum over the weekend, and this will decide the potential fate of the same.
