Darshan Faces Fresh Trouble Inside Jail After Clash With Inmates

Kannada actor Darshan is once again in the news due to new problems inside Bengaluru’s Parappana Agrahara Jail. Darshan, along with actress Pavithra Gowda and 15 other accused, was arrested on June 11, 2024, in connection with the shocking kidnapping and murder of a young fan named Renukaswamy from Chitradurga.

According to recent reports, Darshan was involved in a clash with other inmates inside the jail. The argument reportedly created tension near his barrack. Because of this incident, jail officials immediately increased security in that area. The authorities are now closely watching Darshan’s movements to avoid any further trouble.

Parappana Agrahara Jail has already been in the spotlight for many controversies in the past few months. Earlier, some photos of Darshan drinking tea inside the jail in a relaxed manner went viral on social media. These pictures triggered heavy criticism from the public, who questioned the special treatment given to him. Later, videos showed another prisoner using a mobile phone and watching TV inside the jail, which is strictly against prison rules. This incident led to an NIA-level inquiry.

Now, police suspect that people close to Darshan might be behind the leak of these photos and videos. Meanwhile, other accused in the same murder case, including Anu Kumar, Jagga, Pradyush, and Lakshman, have alleged that Darshan has been threatening and harassing them inside the jail. One of the inmates even asked jail officials to transfer him to another prison, as he feared for his safety while staying near Darshan.

While the legal case continues, Darshan’s professional life has also been affected. His upcoming movie titled “The Devil”, which was completed before his recent return to jail, is scheduled to release on December 12. However, his legal troubles may affect the film’s promotions and public response.
