Robin Hood wasted David Warner?

International cricketer and former captain of Sunrisers Hyderabad, David Warner is one of the most prominent cricketer in the global community. He is a dear personality for the Telugu audience as well.

Incidentally, Warner happened to make his debut as an actor with Telugu film Robin Hood, which features Nithiin and Sree Leela in the lead roles. He was reportedly paid a massive remuneration for this film, and he also happened to come to Hyderabad for the promotional campaign of the same.

While it looked all fun and games, still, Warner was taking part in the promotions and made a glittery appearance, the film where it actually mattered fell flat in terms of Warner’s appearance.

Those who have watched the film in theatres are commenting that David Warner was absolutely wasted as there is absolutely no prominence for his character in the same. They are of the opinion that Warner was brought in as a simple marketing tool rather than necessity or a character oriented presentation.

People are committing that there is very little time for Warner in the film, and the makers took this aspect very lightly. Director Venky Kudumula is facing criticism for bringing in David Warner and providing him with adequate presence in his story.

There is a lot of emphasis when Warner is playing such a role in a Telugu film, but this opportunity got shattered with Robin Hood now.
