The month of December which seemed very dull till date has suddenly become the centre of attention. 'Salaar' which was supposed to hit the screens on 28th September got postponed and the makers are eyeing to release the movie on 22nd December. This led to a lot of eyebrows being raised as King Khan Shah Rukh Khan's 'Dunki' is releasing on the same date.

This pan-Indian battle is mouth-watering for movie lovers as they get to see two completely different genres from two of the biggest stars in the country. While Prabhas has been struggling lately due to a lack of success since 'Baahubali', SRK has regained his lost glory with 'Pathaan' and 'Jawaan' this year. Both these films crossed the 1000 crore mark which explains the stardom and craze of Bollywood Baadshah.

If they really compete with each other, one should say that SRK has an advantage at the moment but one shouldn't underestimate Prabhas' stardom. SRK's recent blockbusters were out-and-out action entertainers filled with mass ingredients whereas 'Dunki' is a Rajkumar Hirani film that banks on entertainment and emotions. After experimenting a lot with 'Radhe Shyam' and 'Adipurush', Prabhas is back to the action genre with 'Salaar' and even his fans say that it is his biggest strength.

Rajkumar Hirani never had a failure in his career while Prasanth Neel is riding high on the success of 'KGF' franchise. The latter got one over SRK back in 2018 when 'KGF – 1' and 'Zero' were released in December. But things are a whole lot different now. We need to wait and see who wins this December battle.
